Capacity depends on lifting radius
Equipment that can lift a load close to the vehicle may not handle the same weight at a longer radius. This is why verified weights, site measurements and photographs showing the proposed standing position are required before work is confirmed.
Safe outrigger space, ground conditions, overhead services, access width and the final position also form part of the assessment.
