More complex crane-lorry work may require an appointed person, site visit, lift plan, Risk Assessment and Method Statement, slinger or banksman and coordination with the site team. The exact contract-lift scope is agreed after the load and location have been reviewed.
Responsibilities must be clear before work begins. The customer should provide accurate load information, disclose known hazards and confirm site conditions and access arrangements.

From survey to completed movement
